Our Covid 19 Policy

Carnmore Hotels Group has responded to the latest Government Covid-19 Alert Levels for Business Operators to observe. Taking everything into consideration we have made the decision to require all persons who stay or visit our hotels and who can be vaccinated to be fully vaccinated before they enter a Carnmore Managed hotel, restaurant or bar or meeting venues. At this stage Children aged under 12 will be exempted in accordance with legislative requirements.

We have taken this decision to ensure that anyone who stays, visits, or works at any Carnmore operated Hotel a level of certainty about what our vaccination policy stands for, and that our policy decision provides that. The Covid Protection Framework was very carefully looked at before making the final decision and we feel that this is the right course of action to take in consideration of the safety and welfare of both our guests and our staff.

The personal Vaccination status of each person would be monitored using the NZ Pass Verifier App and guests would be required to present their My Vaccine Pass on arrival at a Carnmore hotel. The policy will take effect from when the Covid Protection Framework comes into effect on 3 December 2021.

Carnmore Hotels also wishes to confirm that all its hotel-based employees will also be required to be fully vaccinated by 17 January 2022. This policy requirement would also extend to all contractors and visitors coming on to any Carnmore hotel property as well.

All the measures and decisions that have been made regarding these policies are the result of extensive discussion and feedback from both staff members and guests alike and we all feel like minded in the need to provide everyone with our utmost commitment to provide the highest level of safety against Covid-19.
